RYAN CASHA will join with DNA Autosport to tackle this year’s Porsche Michelin Carrera Cup Australia Championship. Here’s Ryan’s update for the year ahead!

This year we are delighted to announce that I’ll be competing in the Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia Championship, supported by DNA Autosport.

It’s a super exciting opportunity and to represent my partners and this team on some of the biggest stages in the country is amazing.

We look to build from our learnings from last year in Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge where we secured the Jim Richards Endurance Championship, alongside a second-place finish overall in the Pro championship.

This provided a secure launchpad for me to further my career and look to attack the front of the Carrera Cup field in 2026.

Expectations are subdued, as the first round in Melbourne will be jam packed and we will be looking to learn as much as possible for the season ahead.

However, rejoining DNA Autosport this year and welcoming onboard some new motivated partners, as well as our loyal returning sponsors, means we are ready to challenge the guys who have been so dominant the past few years.

Dylan and Harri have done an awesome job staying on top of their game and pushing the category forward, and I want to be part of that this year. Competition is extremely fierce in Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia and this can’t be understated.

Moving to the new ABS system for these 992 GT3 Cup cars as well as some calendar tweaks will make for some hard battles and exciting racing, which I’m ready to add to. We as a team have been working tirelessly to put together a strong and ultra-competitive program for season 2026.

This season also provides us even more valuable and relevant experience in Porsche Cup cars and GT style machinery, supporting an opportunity we have been given to travel abroad to the United States to compete in similar machinery post-2026 while also creating a strong position in Australian motorsport moving forward.

For now, our focus is on securing good points for the championship and integrating all the learnings from last year so we can put together a successful campaign in Carrera Cup Australia. I have full faith in this team and will strive to put them where they deserve to be, up the front.
