TFH Racing will make their debut in the Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia Championship in 2026, confirming Josh Thomas and Diesel Thomas as its driver line-up for the season-opening round at the Australian Grand Prix.
The program will be run as a satellite technical entry to TekworkX Motorsport, formalising an existing relationship between the drivers, TFH Racing, and one of Carrera Cup Australia’s front-running teams.
The Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park will mark the first Carrera Cup Australia starts for both Josh and Diesel, launching TFH Racing’s campaign on the championship’s biggest stage and signalling the team’s arrival in Australia’s premier one-make Porsche category.
Through its alliance with TekworkX Motorsport, TFH Racing will benefit from engineering depth, race operations, and championship-level infrastructure, providing a strong platform throughout the season.
TekworkX Motorsport Team Principal Rob Woods said the partnership builds on an established working relationship.
“Josh and Diesel are familiar faces within the TekworkX environment, having worked with us previously across Sprint Challenge and GT4 programs. They understand our systems, our expectations, and the level required to be competitive in Porsche one-make racing.”
Josh Thomas steps into Carrera Cup Australia having previously competed with TekworkX Motorsport in a Porsche GT4. His 2026 campaign will focus on refining race craft and consistency as he adapts to the demands of one of the most competitive one-make category in the world.
Diesel Thomas also brings prior experience with the team through Sprint Challenge and GT4 programs, providing valuable continuity as the 17-year-old progresses into Carrera Cup Australia. His debut season will centre on maximising learning opportunities and building performance across a diverse calendar of circuits.
TFH Racing’s entry into Carrera Cup Australia represents a significant milestone in the team’s long-term pathway, reinforcing its ambition to establish a competitive and sustainable presence at the top level of Porsche one-make racing in Australia.
Further announcements, including car liveries and additional program details, will be released in the lead-up to the Australian Grand Prix.
