Carrera Cup has competed at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in every season since its 2003 launch, though was only a point-scoring championship round from the 2008 season. However, Carrera Cup Australia wasn’t the first Porsche one-make series to compete at the 5.3km Melbourne circuit; Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup raced at the 1999 event in its first and only visit Down Under.

Sydney Motorsport Park has featured on the Carrera Cup calendar since 2003, where the circuit featured twice in the inaugural season with a round in May and November. The western Sydney circuit also hosted the first ever two-driver Pro-Am event, held at the inaugural Porsche Rennsport Australia event in 2013. In 2016, it was home to Australia's first ever joint round with Carrera Cup Asia, an initiative replicated for the 2018 event.

Rich in Australia motor racing heritage, the Mount Panorama Circuit has hosted a Carrera Cup round in each of its seasons since 2003. The iconic 6.2km circuit features a steep climb up Mount Panorama – a vertical ascent of 174 metres – before the near 2km run down Conrod Straight, along which Carrera Cup racers will experience their fastest speeds of the season.
