Porsche City Index Carrera Cup Australia front-runner and former champion Alex Davison has secured major backing from national law firm Rostron Carlyle Solicitors for the remaining rounds of the 2012 championship.
Davison, the 2004 Carrera Cup Australia champion, currently sits second in the 2012 standings and is pleased to finish the season with an exciting new partnership.
“It’s been a strong season for me and McElrea Racing and it’s good to see our hard work paying off by securing Rostron Carlyle Solicitors for the Gold Coast and Sydney rounds,” said Davison.
“We’ll strive to be at the front of the field for the rest of the season and hopefully this can be the start of a strong partnership into the future.”
Rostron Carlyle Solicitors Partner, Gavin McInnes, is thrilled with the fitting partnership with the Carrera Cup front-runner.
“We are delighted. Rostron Carlyle’s philosophy and values focus on innovation and commitment in a field of technical excellence, and we’ve built our success with our ‘relaxed professionalism’ relationships with our clients to get the results,” said McInnes.
“So Porsche, Carrera Cup, McElrea Racing and Alex Davison are a perfect fit for us to reflect that philosophy.”
McElrea Racing also announced new sponsor Bexclusive – a new Brisbane exclusive lifestyle magazine – for the Gold Coast round.
Davison will debut the livery in today’s opening practice session at the Armor All Gold Coast 600 – the event he won in Carrera Cup Australia in 2006.
