Nick Percat has continued his impressive pace at Winton Motor Raceway to take the TAG Heuer Pole Position Award, while Adam Gowans claimed the TAG Heuer Carrera Challenge Award for being the fastest Elite Class qualifier.
Percat scored the front position on the Race 1 grid with a time of 1:23.7225, three-tenths quicker than his nearest rival Steven Richards.
Starting behind the two Bathurst 1000 victors on the grid will be Craig Baird and Shae Davies, while Michael Patrizi was fifth and Gowans posted an impressive sixth fastest time, the quickest of the Elite Class competitors.
Warren Luff qualified seventh from rookie Richard Muscat, Duvashen Padayachee and Damien Flack in 10th.
Stephen Grove qualified 11th from Max Twigg, Shane Smollen, Tony Bates, Marc Cini, James Bergmuller , Martin Wagg, Paul Kelly, Tony Walls, Renee Gracie, Michael Loccisano and Carrera Cup returnee Rusty French.
