Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia Championship will welcome a new Porsche 911 Cup car to the Championship in 2027.

A maximum of 28 cars will be available for purchase prior to the start of the 2027 Championship.

Expressions of interest are currently being received, with the cars to be offered for sale through a structured tiered sales process designed to reward customer loyalty.

The new 911 Cup car is priced at $495,000 +GST with the sales process commencing from August 31.

Porsche Cars Australia Senior Motorsport Manager Craig Nayda said there is already strong interest from the customer base.

“We’re really excited to welcome in the new 911 Cup car in 2027 as it marks another new and exciting chapter in our rich history in Australian Motorsport,” Nayda said.

“We have received a lot of interest in the new car already and we’re really looking forward to officially unveiling the car at our launch event later this month.”

The new 992.II Porsche 911 Cup car will be officially launched in Australia at Queensland Raceway on Friday August 21.
