Young racer Dylan O’Keeffe will move to the Super2 Series following a tremendous four seasons climbing the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid.
Following a season in Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge Australia in 2015 and three subsequent seasons in Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia, the 20-year-old Melbourne racer has used the pathway to assist in forging a career in Australia in his now-confirmed move to the Super2 Series.
O’Keeffe, who placed third in the 2018 Carrera Cup standings, will step into the 2018 Super2 title-winning seat with Garry Rogers Motorsport.
“I’ve learned a lot during my last three seasons in Carrera Cup, and this year I demonstrated my ability to match it with the best drivers in the category,” said O’Keeffe, who completed a recent rookie evaluation day with GRM week at Winton.
“I completed around 300km on Tuesday, which enabled me to fine-tune my driving technique – it’s a very different style to the Porsche.
“I also worked closely with the team on car setup, to understand the effects of different changes.”
