Reigning TAG Heuer-Pro-Am champion Stephen Grove will return to the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2019 in the hope to continue his Class B stronghold.
With three Class B crowns to his name from seven attempts, the Melbourne-based racer will be joined in the #4 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup entry by two former Carrera Cup racers, his son Brenton Grove and Brit Ben Barker, retaining the same driver line-up as his 2018 class-winning campaign.
“Having the same driver line-up heading into this year’s event was something really important for our preparations. We tried to keep some normality year on year and having the same three drivers really helps that process. It will be great to have Ben back again, so we are really excited to head to the Mountain in the new Porsche Cup car to see how we go.”
The Bathurst 12 Hour’s Class B will exclusively feature Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, with four teams currently entered in the division.
And is true Grove Racing style, the #4 car will run a vibrant colour scheme, predominantly red with a Grove flair, featuring a boxing kangaroo on the sides, an Australian flag on the bonnet and other iconic Australian symbols spread around the car.
