The final race of the weekend for Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia at The Bend Motorsport Park was abandoned after heavy showers and a thunderstorm passed through the venue just prior to race start.
Cars left the marshalling area on dry tyres before the conditions worsened on the reconnaissance lap.
Cars came into pit lane to fit wet weather tyres. A single formation lap was then completed before the cars were held on the grid.
Shortly after, cars re-fired and circulated under the control of the safety car, but the rain only got heavier as the red flag came out.
The race was declared a non-race, with race 1 results determining the overall round points.
Therefore Harri Jones won the round for Pro, making it his 12th career round win.
David Russell was second and Aaron Love completed the top 3.
In Pro-Am, Rodney Jane was declared the round winner, his first round win since Adelaide 2025, Matt Slavin was second and Andrew Georgiadis third.
The fifth round of Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia will be at Mount Panorama, Bathurst, October 8-11.
