Grove Junior Driver Oscar Targett will continue his development within the Grove Junior Program in 2025, marking an exciting new chapter in his motorsport career as he takes the next step up to the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Championship.

Targett will join Earl Bamber Motorsport to compete in the prestigious competition, with the continued support of the Grove Junior Team as he works towards a future with the parent team, Penrite Racing.

Having shown significant promise and skill throughout his career thus far, Targett’s move to Carrera Cup Australia is a natural progression for the talented young driver. The series is known for being one of the most competitive and high-profile categories in Australian motorsport, and Targett’s involvement in 2025 will mark an important milestone as he strives to reach the pinnacle of touring car racing.

The Grove Junior Program, a vital part of Penrite Racing’s driver development pathway, is designed to nurture the talents of emerging drivers and prepare them for future success at the highest levels of motorsport. Oscar’s journey with the Grove Junior Team has already seen impressive progress, and this new challenge will help him continue to build his experience in top-tier competition.

Round 1 of Porsche Carrera Cup Australia kicks off this weekend 21^st – 23^rd February at Sydney Motorsport Park under lights which is a first for a season opener. All sessions will be live across Fox Sports and Kayo with all competitive running being shown also on channel 7.
