TechSpecialist has joined the Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia Championship as the official and exclusive cyber protection and end-to-end IT services partner for the opening round of the 2026 season at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and round two in Darwin.
Under the new partnership, TechSpecialist also secures naming rights to the TechSpecialist Pro-Am series at both the Australian GP and Darwin rounds.
The brand will feature prominently on all Pro-Am cars, including placement on the front windscreen strip, rear window adjacent to the race number, both sides of the front bumper bar, the back of both rear-view mirrors, the B-pillar on both sides, and on in-car signage boards across both events.
TechSpecialist has over 20 years of experience in managed IT services and IT consulting.
During that time, the company has delivered secure, scalable and performance-focused technology solutions to some of Australia’s most well-known businesses. This partnership reflects the increasing importance of robust digital infrastructure in high-performance environments.
Dushern Pather, CEO of TechSpecialist, said the partnership is a strong strategic fit.
“Carrera Cup attracts people who take performance seriously, on the track and in their businesses,” Pather said.
“For us, it’s about being part of the right conversation. The Pro-Am field is made up of people who understand what’s at stake when things don’t work the way they should. That shared mindset is what made this partnership worth doing.”
Porsche Cars Australia Senior Motorsport Manager Craig Nayda welcomed TechSpecialist to the championship.
“Technology and data security play an increasingly important role in modern motorsport,” Nayda said.
“Welcoming TechSpecialist for the Australian Grand Prix and Darwin rounds strengthens our commercial platform and introduces a partner that understands reliability and risk management.”
TechSpecialist will feature on cars at the opening round of the 2026 season at Albert Park for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix across 5–8 March and round two in Darwin, 19–21 June.
